Our Fish Frydays run every week and our gluten-free fish and chips are available all day from midday every Friday for just £17.95, including one selected drink from the following options:
- A glass of Durello Spumante
- 125ml of house wine (red, white, or rosé)
- A pint of Longbow Ale or Prahva
- A selected soft drink

At The Peacock at Owler Bar, we’re committed to using the best local produce in our dishes made from scratch.
Did you know? Our fish is sourced and supplied by RG Morris and Sons, the famous Buxton fishmongers who have been supplying local restaurants and hotels with the best, sustainably caught fresh fish, shellfish and seafood for over 100 years.
Our batter used to fry our fish is gluten-free and made with our Longbow IPA, the delicious gluten-free beer brewed for us by our friends at Thornbridge Brewery. This session IPA has bags of tropical fruit aromas with a chewy, honey malt aroma. It’s won loads of awards, including a World Beer Award for best gluten-free beer.
No fish and chip dinner would be complete without our hand-peeled, hand-cut triple-cooked chips. The potatoes are sourced from local farms, making them super fresh, delicious and cooked to golden crispy perfection.
Our fish and chips are served with minted mushy peas and homemade tartare sauce.
