Our Mothering Sunday menu has been expertly created by Head Chef, Alina Gagea, and Raymond Blanc-trained Group Executive Chef, Adrian Gagea. They’re committed to bring the best seasonal Peak District and British produce from field to farm to fork.

 

Off To a Great Start

Our much-loved Derbyshire suppliers include Winster Foods in Chesterfield, The Ginger Butchers in Bakewell and RG Morris Fishmongers in Buxton. They work hard to deliver the most incredible quality meats, fish and vegetables that go into our delicious dishes.

This Mothering Sunday, on Sunday, March 30, indulge in this special menu that includes home-baked bread and truffle butter to start before a choice of starters including pan-fried Thai sea bass with stir-fried seasonal vegetables and miso and sesame dressing and the beautiful wild mushroom and truffle pâté, with toasted sourdough, mixed leaf salad and pickled vegetables.

 

The Main Event

For your main course, our famous Sunday roast with all the seasonal traditional trimmings including Yorkshire pudding is a delicious Sunday staple with a refined twist.

For those following a plant-based diet, the root vegetable Wellington is a comforting and cosy option or why not try the spiced sweet potato risotto, with chargrilled courgette, tenderstem broccoli, crispy kale and herb oil?

Dessert is not to be skipped with Pineapple, sultana, stem ginger & almond crumble, served with vegan vanilla ice cream. Or how about the chocolate brownie with caramelised banana mousse, orange sorbet and strawberry coulis?

Those on a gluten-free diet can rest assured that all starters, mains and the majority of the desserts can be adapted to be gluten-free with no loss of taste or texture.

Round off your meal with handmade chocolates and tea or coffee for the perfect way to celebrate the mum in your life this Mother’s Day.
