What’s on the menu
Available Monday to Saturday, the set menu is £21.95 for two courses or £26.95 for three, offering great value dining in the Peak District.
Starters
Start with a mixed mushroom fricassee on toasted sourdough with blue cheese and toasted pine nuts, or the heritage tomato carpaccio with mozzarella bocconcini and fresh basil.
The lamb kofta on grilled pitta with Greek feta salad is a favourite for those wanting something heartier and for something a little different, the sweet and sour glazed battered prawns with a mixed leaf salad are well worth trying.
Mains
For mains, our Caesar salad can be topped with buttermilk chicken, pistachio and chimichurri prawns or chickpea and soy falafel.
The stir-fried noodles in a roasted peanut hoisin sauce come with a choice of marinated sirloin steak, sweet and sour glazed battered king prawns or maple & soy-glazed tofu with tenderstem broccoli.
Classic favourites include chicken Milanese with mozzarella and roasted tomato sauce, and our seafood linguine brings together mussels, squid and prawns in a rich tomato sauce finished with herb oil.
Desserts
To finish, choose from sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream, kiwi and matcha mousse with flaked almonds and strawberry compote, strawberry and white chocolate Eton mess or chocolate brownie with caramel mousse and coconut sorbet.
