With the seasons changing, it’s the last chance to take advantage of our autumn special offers before festive cheer takes over at The Peacock at Owler Bar.
The shift from summer menus to autumn comfort dishes has been welcomed by so many of you and it has been brilliant to see people discovering new favourites.
Before we step into the festive season, these last few days are the perfect opportunity to dine well for less.
Kids Eat Free
We’ve loved seeing how many families have embraced this offer. Children aged 12 and under can enjoy a free main when an adult orders two courses or chooses from our seasonal set menu. It has been perfect for post-adventure refuelling after a day in the Peak District.
Fish Frydays
Friday feels complete with fish and chips. Our Fish Frydays offer serves sustainably sourced fish from RG Morris Fishmongers in Buxton, cooked in our own Longbow IPA batter and even better, it’s gluten free! With fish, chips and your choice of drink for £17.95, it’s an unbeatable way to begin the weekend.
Seasonal Set Menu
Our autumn set menu celebrates the flavours, colours and comfort of the season. Choose two or three courses for £21.95 or £26.95 and enjoy a curated selection that highlights the best of our kitchen. Each dish brings the warmth and richness of the season to your table, creating a dining experience that feels both cosy and special.
These offers finish on Friday 28th November, which means this week is your last chance to enjoy them in our warm and relaxed countryside setting.
What’s coming next?
Although our offers are finishing, Friday 28th November also marks the start of Christmas at The Peacock at Owler Bar.
Our team has been busy transforming the restaurant and bar with festive decorations, ready to bring a touch of seasonal magic to every visit.
If you cannot make it this week, we invite you to join us for our two or three course festive menu filled with classic winter dishes served by the fire.
For something indulgent, our Festive Afternoon Tea offers seasonal sandwiches and sweet treats with organic tea or the option to upgrade to fizz.
Families can also still book for our Breakfast with Santa on the 13th and 20th of December, although places are filling up fast. It is a lovely way for little ones to share their Christmas wishes while enjoying a cosy morning together.
